Local Transport Contacts and Information

The best place to start looking at journeying to Hull and East Yorkshire is the traveline public transport information site, which covers national train and bus operators.

Trains

Northern Rail Services

The service to Scarborough from Hull, stops at Cottingham, Beverley (15 minutes), Arram, Hutton Cranswick, Driffield (30 minutes), Nafferton, Bridlington (45 minutes) and Bempton, before leaving the Hull and East Yorkshire CAMRA area and going on to Hunmanby, Filey, Seamer and Scarborough.

The Leeds bound trains out of Hull stop at Hessle, Brough, Broomfleet, Gilberdyke, Eastrington and Howden, before leaving the branch area and going on towards Leeds. Those bound for Doncaster stop at the same stations, before going on to Saltmarshe and Goole and leaving the branch area.

Hull Trains

This six times a day service to London stops at Brough, Howden and Selby, where it leaves our area on the way to London. For further information visit the Hull Trains website, which has a timetable.

Buses

Hull and East Yorkshire are reasonably well served by buses. The main companies running around and out of Hull are East Yorkshire Motor Services and Stagecoach. Call 01482 222222 for information on all bus operators in Hull and East Yorkshire.
